How it All Started

Haley:

So it all pretty much started with me. I love to say I "carried" but really I was just a girl working at the After School Program with 4/5th graders who all pretty much signed up for the school's soccer team. I started hearing all about this soccer coach/teacher. The students told me I should totally investing my time in talking to him. So I started with "Hi Mr. Hernandez", "Have a nice day Mr. Hernandez"...

Alex:

The red hair caught my attention. I can't even lie. So I decided to show a smile here, a wave there. Nothing crazy, until I realized I would always run into her when I refilled my water at the end of the day. Then I decided to say "Have a nice day" whenever I would fill up my water before leaving work. This went on for the last two months of school...

Haley:

It was getting closer to the end of the year and I started to get more anxious. In my mind I had two options; leave things where they are with Mr. Hernandez, come back from summer break and continue the subtle flirts OR ask him for his number & possibly get to know him more. Guess what I chose....

Alex:

She stalked me across campus. Legit followed me back to my classroom. When I realized she was following me I turned and said, "Is there something you need?"

Haley:

Yup. His number. "I was wondering if I could ask for your number."

Alex:

I didn't give it to her. I got hers instead. LOL
